STTARS is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation assisting people from refugee or migrant backgrounds who have experienced torture or other trauma as a result of persecution and organised violence. STTARS offers counselling and consultations with social workers, GPs, psychologists, psychiatrists and natural therapists s well as assistance with practical matters. STTARS is a member of the Forum of Australian Services for Survivors of Torture and Trauma.
